Footloose In America

 Twice on the trek to Maine, Della and the Kennys caught a ride. Here they are crossing the Mississippi River on the Hickman Ferry. Kentucky is in the background.

 The second ride was across Lake Champlain on the Ticonderoga Ferry. The oldest ferry company in America.

All other bodies of water were crossed on bridges. This one leads into Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
