| WHERE THEY LIVED Bud built this apartment in a hayloft above Della's stall. So the family is always together.The studio where Bud wrote is attached to this room. At one time the barns of this farm were used to house a sawmill. Cedar was harvested from nearby woods for the mill. Culled boards were left in the barn. Bud took those boards planed, sanded and tung oiled them for the walls of this apartment. The windows over the table look out at the Atlantic. When the Kenny's hit the road again this apartment will be one of the rentals at the Mermaid's Purse Farm B&B. |
